Find the correct angle valve for your basin tap and kitchen tap with hansgrohe. The small valve is also used to supply clean water to the flushing tank and bidet. Our high-tech and high-quality models ensure a reliable connection at the tapping point, e.g. the mixer tap, and when installing pipes and supplying hot water. For renovations or replacements, the inconspicuous fittings remain unchanged, while the consumers (mixer or tap) can be easily removed.
hansgrohe uses the standard 1/2-inch wall connection. This measurement refers to the thread diameter on the water pipe’s wall connection. The second standard value, 3/8 inches, is relevant for the tapping point connection. You can connect all hansgrohe kitchen and bathroom taps to this thread without any issues.
If a replacement is necessary or wanted, make sure the water pipe is shut off. As angle valves are usually installed in pairs, please check which inlet (hot or cold water) to shut off before you start.
Make sure you loosen and retighten the connections once a year to ensure the thread works as it should.
With hansgrohe, you can find valves with a round handle that remains visible or a model with a slipcase on the front. The version with a cover is perfectly suitable for visible installation in the bathroom to ensure a tasteful look under the wash basin. In the kitchen, the connections are usually tucked away in the cabinet under the sink. The model with a slipcase stylishly covers the handle. The chrome-plated slipcase can be easily removed as needed. hansgrohe also offers a solution with a mesh filter.
