Hansgrohe Unica: comfort and safety in the shower

Hans Grohe invented the shower rail more than 60 years ago, and while the overall design has remains similar, the look is still evolving today. Now, you can choose from a number of modern finishes, including chrome or white/chrome, with black or glass surfaces, as seen in the Unica E. Or go for the ultimate in support - the Unica Comfort has been independently tested to support up to 200kg. For ease of installation, the Unica Reno comes with variable wall brackets. And to ensure everything is coordinated, Unica shower rails come in a variety of lengths, with shower hoses and brackets that are compatible with standard hand showers.

Shower rails for baths and showers

Anyone who uses the bath for bathing and showering will find it crucial to be able to position the shower head appropriately, which is why we recommend a large shower rail between 0.90 and 1.05m long. In the shower, waist level is sufficient, so the 0.65m rail can be used. However, for those who want extra maneuverability, the Unica E shower rail is available up to 1.5m long, making it ideal for multigeneration bathrooms. Lots of rails come with a shower hose, to ensure the right length for your shower.

Independently tested: Unica Comfort

Even in a small bathroom, Unica Comfort provides added convenience. The space-saving combination of a sturdy shower rail with removable shelf area also works as a grab bar, providing extra security with a tensile force of up to 200kg. Thanks to the extra shower support, Unica Comfort also makes it easy to shower while seated, and it’s available in both left and right handed variants.

Elegant support: the Unica E shower rail

With a surface of scratch-resistant glass, Unica E is an eye catching addition to the bathroom. Available in white/chrome, black/chrome or mirrored chrome, its shallow body is positioned against the bathroom wall, so that it blends in perfectly with glass shower enclosures, overhead showers or thermostats. Its self-locking slide enables easy one-handed adjustment, while the shower head can be rotated and tilted to position it correctly. The Unica E shower rail can be installed onto existing connections, and comes with the sleek Casetta E soap dish.
